WELCOME

Welcome to CHS Coding Club! We are glad you showed up and have therefore shown interest in coding.

What is coding? Coding, or programming, is the process of providing a computer or machine with coded instructions for the automatic performance of a particular task. Coding is what makes it possible for us to create computer software, apps, and websites. Your browser, your OS, the apps on your phone, Facebook, and this website – they’re all made with code.

What is computer science? Computer science, which includes coding, is simply the study of the principles and use of computers, and includes everything from artificial intelligence to information technology.

WHY SHOULD YOU LEARN HOW TO CODE?
